DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Marcie A. Serber for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law.  Serber was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on July 27, 1988, under the name Marcie Ann Serber.  By decision and order on motion of this Court dated September 13, 2021, Serber was immediately suspended from the practice of law based on her conviction of a serious crime.  By opinion and order of this Court dated February 15, 2023, Serber was suspended from the practice of law for a period of three years, with credit for the time elapsed under the interim suspension imposed by this Court by decision and order on motion dated September 13, 2021 (see Matter of Serber, 213 A.D.3d 68, 183 N.Y.S.3d 168).

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted;  and it further,

ORDERED that, effective immediately, Marcie A. Serber, admitted as Marcie Ann Serber, is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-Law, and the Clerk of the Court is directed to restore the name of Marcie Ann Serber to the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-Law.
