Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Ellen N. Biben, J.), rendered October 24, 2017, convicting defendant, upon his plea of guilty, of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, and sentencing him to a term of 21/212 years, unanimously modified, as a matter of discretion in the interest of justice, to the extent of reducing the postrelease supervision component of the sentence to a period of one year, and otherwise affirmed.

We find the sentence excessive to the extent indicated.
