JOHN POWELL MORGAN, III, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal of the district court's April 8, 2026, oral decision limiting the scope and parameters of a hearing on a motion to suppress. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Michael Villani, Judge.
Because no statute or court rule permits an appeal from the aforementioned district court ruling, this court lacks jurisdiction to consider this appeal. Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990) (explaining that this court has jurisdiction only when statute or court rule provides for appeal). Additionally, we note that appellant has filed a petition for a writ of mandamus regarding the same oral decision, in Docket No. 92647. Accordingly, this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
