KASHON D. GLASS, AKA, KASHON GLASS, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction, pursuant to a guilty plea, of robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, voluntary manslaughter, and residential burglary. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Hon. Jacqueline M. Bluth, Judge.
This court's review of the notice of appeal reveals jurisdictional defects. Specifically, the district court entered the judgment of conviction on November 19, 2024. Appellant did not file the notice of appeal, however, until September 17, 2026, well after the expiration of the 30-day appeal period prescribed by NRAP 4(b). “[A]n untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in this court.” Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994). Additionally, appellant has previously appealed this order. See Glass v. State, Docket No. 89790, (Order of Affirmance, November 10, 2025). A second duplicate appeal may not be pursued. To the extent, if any, the notice of appeal can be construed as a petition for rehearing of this court's November 10, 2025, Order of Affirmance in Docket No. 89790, it is untimely. See NRAP 40(c). This court lacks jurisdiction and
