IN RE: DISCIPLINE OF ADAM LAWSON WOODRUM, BAR NO. 10284.
ORDER OF DISBARMENT BY CONSENT
The Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board, bar counsel, and attorney Adam Woodrum have filed a joint petition under SCR 112 for Woodrum's disbarment by consent. The petition is supported by Woodrum's declaration, stating that he freely and voluntarily consents to disbarment, after having the opportunity to consult counsel. Woodrum acknowledges in the declaration that the material facts set forth in the petition are true, including that he has been convicted of felony offenses and sentenced to 8 to 20 years in prison, and that he could not successfully defend against pending disciplinary proceedings.
SCR 112 provides that an attorney who is the subject of disciplinary proceedings involving allegations of misconduct may consent to disbarment by delivering an affidavit to bar counsel. Woodrum's declaration meets the requirements of SCR 112(1). See NRS 53.045. Accordingly, we grant the petition. See SCR 112(2) (providing that the petition must be filed with this court and this court “shall enter an order disbarring the attorney on consent”).
Attorney Adam Woodrum is disbarred from the practice of law in Nevada commencing from the date of this order. Such disbarment is irrevocable. SCR 102(1)(a). The parties shall comply with SCR 115 and SCR 121.1.
It is so ORDERED.
