IN RE: the Trust of : The Romans 8:28 Trust Leslie D. Harris, Appellant, v. Nicolle Robinson, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal of a district court order affirming and adopting the probate commissioner's recommendation to deny appellant's motion “alleging material falsehoods” in the inventory filed by respondent. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Hon. Veronica Barisich, Judge.
Review of the documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the challenged order is not substantively appealable under NRAP 3A(b), or the statute authorizing appeals from certain probate orders, NRS 155.190. See Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013) (this court “may only consider appeals authorized by statute or court rule”).
Additionally, on August 17, 2026, this court issued a notice directing appellant to file a transcript request form or certificate of no transcript request by August 31, 2026, and a docketing statement by September 8, 2026. See NRAP 9; NRAP 14(b). To date, appellant has failed to file these documents or to otherwise communicate with this court.
Because no statute or court rule allows for appeal of the order adopting the recommendation of the probate commissioner to deny appellant's motion “alleging material falsehoods” regarding the inventory filed by respondent, and because it appears that appellant has abandoned this appeal, this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
