WILLIAM JENKINS, Appellant, v. KEYBANK, NA., A NATIONAL BANKING ASSOCIATION, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal of an arbitrator's decision filed in the district court by an arbitrator.
Appellant's appeal of the same order in Docket No. 91853 was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because “no statute or court rule provides for an appeal from an arbitrator's decision[.]” (Order Dismissing Appeal, March 3, 2026). In particular, Nevada Arbitration Rule (NAR) 19(a) requires that an arbitration award be submitted to the district court for signature and then filed with the clerk as a form of final judgment. A judgment entered under NAR 19 has the same force and effect as a final judgment but may be appealed only if the district court entered an interlocutory order that disposed of a part of the action. Review on appeal is limited to the interlocutory order and the issues determined in the arbitration will not be considered. NAR 19(b).
In this case, it does not appear that the district court has signed any judgment on the arbitration award or that any judgment was then filed in the district court, under either the arbitration docket number or the district court case number. The arbitrator's decision is not appealable under NAR 19, NRAP 3A, NRS 38.247, or any other rule or statute. Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and we
ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
