Tina Leah Rohmiller, Appellant, v. Gregory Rohmiller, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a June 17, 2026, district court order deferring ruling on a motion to declare appellant a vexatious litigant, applying a “heightened scrutiny” to appellant's future district court filings, vacating future hearings, imposing a $25.00 fee per motion filed by appellant, and admonishing appellant for her “serial nonsensical filings.” Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Hon. Bill Henderson, Judge.
Review of the documents submitted to this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the order challenged in the notice of appeal is not substantively appealable, as no statute or court rule authorizes an appeal from an order deferring a ruling, applying “heightened scrutiny” to future filings, vacating hearings, imposing a standard fee for filing motions, or admonishing a party. See Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013) (this court “may only consider appeals authorized by statute or court rule”). As no statute or court rule allows for an appeal of the challenged order, this court lacks jurisdiction and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
