ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

Pro se appellant has filed a notice of appeal asserting an appeal from “[a]ny order, written or oral, declaring or attempting to declare Appellant a ‘vexatious litigant,’ including any findings, rulings, or restrictions associated with such designation.” Review of the notice of appeal and documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect.

As an initial matter, there does not appear to be a written order entered by the district court declaring appellant a vexatious litigant. NRAP 3A(b) (allowing appeals from judgments or orders of the district court). Moreover, no statute or court rule allows for an appeal from a vexatious litigant order, even if the district court had entered such an order. See Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013) (this court “may only consider appeals authorized by statute or court rule”); Peck v. Crouser, 129 Nev. 120, 124, 295 P.3d 586, 588 (2013) (providing that vexatious litigant orders are not independently appealable). “[W]rit relief is the appropriate vehicle to review vexation litigant orders ․” Peck, 129 Nev. at 124, 295 P.3d at 588. Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction over this appeal and

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
