EDWARD LEE, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a district court order dismissing an appeal from a justice court order. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Michelle Leavitt, Judge.
Our review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, appellant's case arose in the justice court. The district court has final appellate jurisdiction over a case arising in the justice court. Nev. Const. art. 6, § 6; State v. Eighth Jud. Dist. Ct., 116 Nev. 127, 134, 994 P.2d 692, 696 (2000) (“In Nevada, district courts have final appellate jurisdiction over cases arising in justice's court.”). This court thus lacks jurisdiction to consider this appeal and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
