IN RE: M.J., A MINOR AMY MARIE G. AND CLIFFORD ALLYN J., Appellants, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This appeal was initiated by the filing of a pro se notice of appeal on May 8, 2026, in district court case no. J-19-347828-PC. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Cynthia N. Giuliani, Judge.
Review of the notice of appeal and documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, it does not appear that any order was entered in the underlying matter on either of the dates identified in appellants’ notice of appeal—January 22, 2022, and April 7, 2026. Review of the district court docket indicates the most recent order entered in J-19-347828-PC occurred on July 28, 2022. Appellant fails to identify an appealable order, see NRAP 3(c)(1)(B) (requiring a notice of appeal to “designate the judgment, order or part thereof being appealed”), and this appeal is dismissed. Given this dismissal, appellants’ motion filed on July 10, 2026, is denied as moot.
It is so ORDERED.
