MICHAEL ANTHONY LAND, JR., Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Michelle Leavitt, Judge.
On April 21, 2023, this court entered an order granting appellant's unopposed motion to remand this matter to the district court for the purpose of allowing the district court to resolve appellant's motion for new trial. See NRAP 12A. The district court has now transmitted to this court its May 18, 2023, order granting appellant's motion for new trial and vacating the judgment of conviction. Because the judgment of conviction challenged in this appeal has been vacated and is no longer valid, this court lacks jurisdiction over this appeal. See NRS 177.015(3). Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed.
It is so ORDERED.
