ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This appeal was docketed in this court on December 21, 2022, without payment of the requisite filing fee. Because it appeared that appellant had filed a motion to proceed in forma pauperis in the district court on December 15, 2022, on December 27, 2022, this court entered an order directing the district court to resolve the motion in compliance with NRAP 24.¹ Further review of the motion filed in the district court on December 15, 2022, revealed that this court's December 27, 2022, order issued in error since the motion did not seek in forma pauperis status and did not comply with the provisions of NRAP 24. Accordingly, on February 13, 2023, this court entered an order directing appellant to, within 30 days from the date of that order, pay the $250 filing fee to this court or to file a file-stamped copy of a motion to proceed in forma pauperis that is filed in the district court. Appellant was cautioned that failure to comply with the order would result in the dismissal of this appeal. See NRAP 3(a)(2). To date, appellant has not paid the filing fee or otherwise communicated with this court. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed.
