ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a pro se appeal. Ninth Judicial District Court, Douglas County; Thomas W. Gregory, Judge.

On October 18, 2022, this court entered an order that, among other things, directed appellant, by December 19, 2022, to file and serve either (1) an opening brief in compliance with NRAP 28(a) and NRAP 32(a) or (2) an informal brief for pro se parties on the form provided by the clerk of this court. The order cautioned that failure to timely file the opening brief or informal brief could result in the imposition of sanctions, including the dismissal of this appeal. See NRAP 31(d).

Appellant did not comply or otherwise communicate with this court. Accordingly, on January 9, 2023, this court entered an order directing appellant, by January 23, 2023, to file and serve either (1) an opening brief in compliance with NRAP 28(a) and NRAP 32(a) or (2) an informal brief for pro se parties on the form provided by the clerk of this court. The order cautioned that failure to timely comply could result in the dismissal of this appeal as abandoned. To date, appellant has failed to comply or otherwise communicate with this court. Accordingly, it appears that appellant has abandoned this appeal, and this court

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
