DMVH, LLC, A LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY; NORMAN PHAM, A/K/A NAM NGOC PHAM, A/K/A NORMAN NG, AN INDIVIDUAL; AND PHAM FAMILY TRUST, Petitioners, v. THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF CLARK; AND THE HONORABLE NADIA KRALL, DISTRICT JUDGE, Respondents, GREGG WILLIAMS, COURT APPOINTED RECEIVER ACTING THROUGH TRIDENT PACIFIC REAL ESTATE GROUP, INC., Real Party in Interest.
ORDER DENYING PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS
This original petition for a writ of mandamus challenges a district court order denying petitioners’ petition for permission to file a civil complaint against a receiver.
Having reviewed the instant petition, we are not convinced that our extraordinary and discretionary intervention is warranted. See Pan v. Eighth Judicial Dist. Court, 120 Nev. 222, 228, 88 P.3d 840, 844 (2004) (observing that the party seeking writ relief bears the burden of showing such relief is warranted). Petitioners have not supplied copies of the district court order they seek to challenge. See Rust v. Clark Cty. Sch. Dist., 103 Nev. 686, 689, 747 P.2d 1380, 1382 (1987) (explaining that a written order signed and filed by the district court is essential to this court's review); see also NRAP 21(a)(4) (stating that it is the petitioners’ obligation to provide an appendix that includes all records that may be essential to understand the matters set forth in the petition). Accordingly, we
ORDER the petition DENIED.
