IN RE: the Parental Rights as to J. V., a Minor Child. Micah D. V., Appellant, v. Washoe County Human Services Agency; and J. V., a Minor Child, Respondents.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
Review of the documents submitted to this court pursuant to NRAP 3(g) reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the notice of appeal appears to be untimely filed under NRAP 4(a) because it appears that it was filed more than 30 days after service of written notice of entry of the judgment or order. See NRAP 4(a)(1); NRCP 6(a). The order terminating appellant's parental rights was entered on March 27, 2020, with written notice of entry filed and served also on March 27, 2020. The notice of appeal was not filed until September 4, 2020, well after the expiration of the 30 days provided for in NRAP 4(a)(1). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction, and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
