ANITA A. FORS, Appellant, v. JOHN ISAK FORS, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a post-divorce decree order awarding attorney fees. Second Judicial District Court, Family Division, Washoe County; Sandra A. Unsworth, Judge.
On April 3, 2026, this court issued a notice informing appellant to file and serve, by April 24, 2026, the docketing statement. Appellant attempted to file the docketing statement on April 25, 2026, however, on April 28, 2026, this court issued a notice rejecting the docketing statement because it was untimely and deficient. Appellant was informed to correct the deficiencies and re-file the docketing statement accompanied by a motion for an extension of time. On April 30, 2026, appellant filed the docketing statement with the motion for extension of time attached. On May 4, 2026, this court entered an order striking the docketing statement and motion for extension of time because the docketing statement was deficient and the docketing statement and the motion for extension of time are two separate documents and must be filed as separate documents. The order directed appellant to correct the deficiencies and re-file the documents that conform with the rules by May 11, 2026. On May 7, 2026, appellant attempted to file the docketing statement and a motion for extension of time. This court issued an order striking the motion for extension of time because it was deficient. The order directed appellant to correct the deficiency and re-file the motion for extension of time to conform with the rules and the docketing statement by May 15, 2026.
When appellant failed to file the corrected docketing statement, or a motion for extension of time, this court issued an order on May 20, 2026, noting that appellant's corrected docketing statement was overdue and directing appellant to file and serve the docketing statement within 7 days. The order cautioned appellant that failure to comply could result in the dismissal of this appeal. NRAP 14(c). To date, appellant has failed to file the docketing statement. As it appears appellant has abandoned this appeal, this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
