IN RE: MINOR CHILD: B.T., SHYEUNA VANCE, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA AND B.T., A MINOR CHILD,
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal of a district court order purportedly entered on April 29, 2026. Clark Co.; Hon. Cynthia N. Giuliani, Judge.
Initial review of the notice of appeal and documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Appellant's notice of appeal fails to identify any decisions of the district court, see NRAP 3(c)(1)(B), as it does not appear from the district court docket and minute entries that the district court has entered any appealable order on or around the identified date.
To the extent, if any, appellant's notice of appeal can be construed as challenging the April 6, 2026, order setting evidentiary hearing, this court has jurisdiction to consider an appeal only when the appeal is authorized by statute or court rule. Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013). No statute or court rule provides for an appeal from an order setting an evidentiary hearing. To the extent, if any, appellant's notice of appeal can be construed as challenging the February 23, 2026, temporary “Order After Semi-Annual Review,” that order is not substantively appealable. See In re Temp. Custody of Five Minors, 105 Nev. 441, 777 P.2d 901 (1989) (no statute or court rule authorizes an appeal from a temporary order subject to mandatory review entered in proceedings conducted pursuant to NRS Chapter 432B). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
