BRIDGET LYNN MCADOO-GRIGGS, Appellant, v. KELLY RIGGINS AND LYNN RIGGINS, Respondents.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This appeal was docketed on January 16, 2026, without payment of the requisite filing fee. See NRAP 3(e). That same day, this court issued a notice directing appellant to pay the required filing fee or demonstrate compliance with NRAP 24 within 14 days. The notice advised that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal.
On February 5, 2026, appellant filed a motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis in this court. Because a motion to proceed in forma pauperis must be filed in the district court in the first instance, see NRAP 24(a), on February 11, 2026, this court entered an order directing appellant to, within 30 days of the date of the order, either pay the filing fee or file a motion to proceed in forma pauperis in the district court and file a file-stamped copy of the motion in this court. To date, appellant has not paid the filing fee or otherwise responded to this court's February 11, 2026, order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See NRAP 3(a)(2).
It is so ORDERED.1
Clerk of the Supreme Court Elizabeth A. Brown
