MATTHEW TRAVIS HOUSTON, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se notice of appeal from the “malicious prosecution/the deep State of Nevada entered in this action 11/05/2025.” Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Jennifer L. Schwartz, Judge.
This court's review of the notice of appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. On November 5, 2025, the district court orally pronounced its decision to vacate a hearing regarding a motion to withdraw counsel because counsel had been removed in 2022. No statute or court rule allows for an appeal from the oral pronouncement to vacate a hearing. See Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990) (explaining that this court has jurisdiction only when statute or court rule provides for appeal); NRAP 3(c)(1)(B). This court lacks jurisdiction to consider this appeal and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
