PETER PROFANT, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This appeal was docketed on January 12, 2026, without payment of the requisite filing fee. See NRAP 3(e). That same day, this court issued a notice directing appellant to pay the required filing fee or file a motion to proceed in forma pauperis in the district court in compliance with NRAP 24. Appellant subsequently filed a motion to proceed in forma pauperis in the district court. The district court denied appellant's motion because appellant failed to provide the district court with complete information regarding his income. Accordingly, on February 23, 2026, this court entered an order directing appellant to, within 14 days, either pay the filing fee or file a renewed motion in the district court that provided the district court with complete information regarding his income. The order advised that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has not paid the filing fee or otherwise responded to this court's February 23, 2026, order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See NRAP 3(a)(2). In light of this order, no action will be taken on appellant's motion filed on February 11, 2026.
It is so ORDERED.
Clerk of the Supreme Court Elizabeth A. Brown
