Kelvin JAMES, Appellant, v. Jeremy BEAN, Warden, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This court's review of the notice of appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, although the notice identifies “PWHC (Disciplinary)” as the order being appealed, it does not appear that any decision had been made on the petition, and the petition remains pending. Thus, the notice of appeal is premature. See NRS 177.015(3) (stating that a defendant may appeal only from a final judgment or verdict). As it appears that this case has been pending without action since July 2025, the district court should review this matter as expeditiously as its docket permits. Since we lack jurisdiction over this appeal, this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
