ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a pro se appeal from an order denying a motion to correct illegal sentence, an emergency motion to amend a postconviction petition for writ of habeas corpus, an emergency motion for leave to dismiss amended habeas corpus and emergency amended habeas corpus “set through ESP mail.” Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Kathleen E. Delaney, Judge.

This court's review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the district court entered the order on December 23, 2025, and appellant did not file the notice of appeal until February 3, 2026, several days after the expiration of the 30-day appeal period prescribed by NRAP 4(b)(1)(A). Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994) (explaining that an untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in this court). Accordingly, this court

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
