ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
Appellant's district court “motion for order of direct appeal and appointment of counsel” was forwarded to this court under NRAP 3(g) as a notice of appeal. Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County; Kathleen M. Drakulich, Judge.
The notice fails to identify any decision of the district court from which appellant seeks to appeal. See NRAP 3(c)(1)(B). Further, no appealable order appears on the district court docket to which the notice of appeal could pertain. Instead, appellant appears to be seeking relief in the district court pertaining to an untimely direct appeal and the appointment of counsel. To the extent appellant is seeking such relief from this court, we note that an untimely direct appeal may proceed only upon being granted habeas corpus relief, in accordance with NRAP 4(c). To the extent that appellant is seeking to appeal the motion or a ruling on the motion, no statute or court rule permits an appeal from a motion, and no ruling has been entered. Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction, Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990), and we
ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.1
