ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a pro se appeal from an order denying a postconviction petition for writ of habeas corpus. Tenth Judicial District Court, Churchill County; Thomas L. Stockard, Judge.

This court's review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the district court entered the order on September 12, 2025. The notice of entry was served by mail on that same date. Thus, appellant had until October 15, 2025, to file her notice of appeal—33 days from the date of service, as prescribed by NRS 34.575 and extended by NRAP 26(c). Appellant did not file the notice of appeal until January 23, 2026, however, well after the expiration of the 33-day appeal period. Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994) (explaining that an untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in this court). Accordingly, this court
