ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This court's review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, with respect to the December 2 order, appellant did not file the notice of appeal until January 13, 2025, after the expiration of the 30-day appeal period prescribed by NRAP 4(b). Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994) (explaining that an untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in this court). As for the order entered on December 11, no statute or court rule allows for an appeal from an order denying a motion to reconsider and for an evidentiary hearing. See Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990) (explaining that this court has jurisdiction only when statute or court rule provides for appeal). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and
