ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from a district court order in an action for receivership, breach of contract, and associated claims. When preliminary review of the documents before this court revealed a potential jurisdictional defect, this court ordered appellants to show cause, by November 12, 2025, why the appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. In particular, it was not clear that the district court had entered a final judgment appealable under NRAP 3A(b)(1) where appellants did not indicate in the docketing statement that the claims for receivership had been fully resolved. See Lee v. GNLV Corp., 116 Nev. 424, 426, 996 P.2d 416, 417 (2000) (defining a final judgment); Martin & Co. v. Kirby, 34 Nev. 205, 214, 117 P. 2, 4 (1911) (describing a final judgment in a receivership action). This court cautioned that failure to demonstrate that this court has jurisdiction could result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellants have not responded to the order to show cause or otherwise communicated with this court regarding the jurisdictional issue.
“[T]he burden rests squarely upon the shoulders of a party seeking to invoke our jurisdiction to establish, to our satisfaction, that this court does in fact have jurisdiction.” Maran v. Bonneville Square Assocs., 117 Nev. 525, 527, 25 P.3d 898, 899 (2001). Appellants have failed to demonstrate appellate jurisdiction. Accordingly, we
ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
