ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from a district court order dismissing an appeal from a justice court summary eviction. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Anna C. Albertson, Judge.
Our review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, appellants’ case arose in the justice court. The district court has final appellate jurisdiction over cases arising in the justice court. Nev. Const. art. 6, § 6; Tripp v. City of Sparks, 92 Nev. 362, 550 P.2d 419 (1976). Accordingly, we conclude that we lack jurisdiction to consider this appeal, and we
ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.1

1. Appellants have filed a justice court order granting their application to proceed in forma pauperis; accordingly, the filing fee in this matter is waived. NRAP 24(a)(2). In light of this order, appellants’ emergency motion for stay is denied as moot.
