3883 FLAMINGO CENTER, LLC, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, Petitioner, v. THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF CLARK, AND THE HONORABLE TINA TALIM, DISTRICT JUDGE, Respondents, HADFIELD DEVELOPMENT, INC. D/B/A HADFIELD BUILDING CORPORATION, A NEVADA LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, Real Party in Interest.
ORDER DENYING PETITION FOR A WRIT OF MANDAMUS OR PROHIBITION
This original petition for a writ of mandamus or prohibition challenges a district court order granting a motion to enforce settlement in a real property dispute. Having considered the petition and its supporting documentation, we are not persuaded that our extraordinary and discretionary intervention is warranted. See Pan v. Eighth Jud. Dist. Ct., 120 Nev. 222, 228, 88 P.3d 840, 844 (2004) (observing that the party seeking writ relief bears the burden of showing such relief is warranted); Smith v. Eighth Jud. Dist. Ct., 107 Nev. 674, 677, 679, 818 P.2d 849, 851, 853 (1991) (recognizing that writ relief is an extraordinary remedy and that this court has sole discretion in determining whether to entertain a writ petition). Our review of the record available does not demonstrate the manifest abuse of discretion or clear legal right to the relief sought that is required for extraordinary writ relief. Walker v. Second Jud. Dist. Ct., 136 Nev. 678, 680-81, 475 P.3d 1194, 1196-97 (2020). Accordingly, we
ORDER the petition DENIED.
