IN RE: THE APPLICATION FOR NAME CHANGE, CHOSEN PRINCE KING. PRINCE D. KING A/K/A CHOSEN PRINCE KING, Appellant.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a petition for change of name. Eleventh Judicial District Court, Pershing County; Jim C. Shirley, Judge.
On March 5, 2025, this court issued a notice directing appellant to, among other things, file and serve a transcript request form or certificate of no transcript request within 14 days, a docketing statement within 21 days, and the opening brief or informal brief within 120 days. When appellant failed to file a transcript request form or certificate of no transcript request and the docketing statement, this court issued an order on April 11, 2025, directing appellant to file these documents by April 25, 2025. The order cautioned that failure to timely comply could result in the dismissal of this appeal. Appellant failed to comply. On May 8, 2025, this court again issued an order directing appellant to file a transcript request form or certificate of no transcript request and the docketing statement by May 22, 2025. The order again cautioned that failure to timely comply could result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has failed to file these documents or to otherwise communicate with this court. Additionally, appellant has failed to file the opening brief or informal brief which was due on July 3, 2025. Accordingly, as it appears appellant has abandoned this appeal, this court
