ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a petition for writ of mandamus or writ of prohibition. Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County; William A. Maddox, Judge.

Preliminary review of the notice of appeal and the documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, appellant's notice of appeal is untimely. The district court entered the order on March 10, 2025. Therefore, appellant's notice of appeal was due to be filed on or before April 9, 2025. Appellant did not file his notice of appeal until June 11, 2025, well beyond the 30-day appeal period prescribed by NRAP 4(b). Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994) (explaining that an untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in this court). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
