ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This appeal was initiated by the filing of a pro se notice of appeal that appears to challenge the court of appeals’ order affirming in part and dismissing appellant's appeal in part. See Grimes v. State, Docket No. 88558-COA (Order Affirming in Part and Dismissing Appeal in Part, January 31, 2025).
This court's review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Appellant cannot appeal to this court from an order of the court of appeals. See Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 792 P.2d 1133 (1990) (the right to appeal is statutory; where no statute or court rule provides for an appeal, no right to appeal exists). This court lacks jurisdiction and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.1
