JOHN PRENDEVILLE, Appellant, v. U.S. BANK TRUST NATIONAL ASSOCIATION, NOT IN ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY BUT SOLELY AS TRUSTEE ON BEHALF OF AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEB LOAN TRUST VII; AND QUALITY LOAN SERVICE CORP., Respondents.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a district court order dismissing a petition for foreclosure mediation assistance. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Jerry A. Wiese, Judge.
On January 8, 2025, this court granted appellant's motion for an extension of time to file and serve a corrected opening brief after his original opening brief was stricken as deficient. The order directed appellant to file and serve the corrected opening brief within 30 days from the date of the order.
When appellant failed to file the corrected opening brief this court issued an order on February 25, 2025, noting that appellant's corrected opening brief was overdue and directed appellant to file the corrected opening brief within 7 days. The order also cautioned appellant that failure to timely file the brief may result in the dismissal of this appeal. NRAP 31(d). To date, appellant has failed to file the corrected opening brief or otherwise communicate with this court. Accordingly, it appears that appellant has abandoned this appeal and this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
