ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying emergency motion for preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order, and an order denying motion for appointment of counsel and allowing appellant to file an amended habeas petition. First Judicial District Court, Carson City; Kristin Luis, Judge.
This court's review of the documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, no court rule or statute authorizes an appeal from the above-mentioned orders in a criminal appeal. See Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990) (explaining that this court has jurisdiction only when statute or court rule provides for an appeal). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
