JUAN DWAYNE HIGH A/K/A JUAN HICH, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se notice of appeal from a purported district court order denying a motion to correct clerical mistake. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Crystal Eller, Judge.
This court's review of the notice of appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, it does not appear from the district court docket and minute entries that the district court has entered any such order in Case No. 83C062508-1 and, even if it had, no statute or court rule provides for an appeal from an order denying a motion to correct clerical mistake. Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 792 P.2d 1133 (1990) (explaining that this court has jurisdiction only when statute or court rule provides for appeal). Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
