ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This pro se appeal challenges a district court order denying appellant's motion to disqualify the district judge presiding over the family division matter below. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Jerry A. Wiese, Judge.

Review of the notice of appeal and documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. Specifically, the order challenged in the notice of appeal is not substantively appealable, as no statute or court rule authorizes an appeal from an order denying a request to disqualify a judge. See Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013) (“[This court] may only consider appeals authorized by statute or court rule.”).
