JAMES PATRICK BOYD, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from a February 16, 2024, judgment of conviction. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Danielle K. Pieper, Judge.
When this court's preliminary review of the documents before it revealed a potential jurisdictional defect, in that the July 12, 2024, notice of appeal appeared untimely, it ordered appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant's response indicates that the appeal is untimely. As a result, this court lacks jurisdiction, NRAP 4(b); Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994), and we thus
ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
