ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is an appeal from a district court order appointing a guardian over the person and estate of James Larry McKinney (James), Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division, Clark County; Linda Marquis, Judge.

Because counsel for James had filed a suggestion of death upon the record informing this court that James had passed away on April 19, 2024, and it appeared that James’ passing may have rendered this appeal moot, on June 12, 2024, this court entered an order giving appellant 14 days to inform this court whether she intends to proceed with this appeal. Appellant was cautioned that failure to comply with this order could result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has not responded to this court's June 12, 2024, order. Because it appears James’ passing has rendered this appeal moot, we

ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
