ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

On February 9, 2024, this court entered an order directing appellant, within 30 days, to retain alternate counsel and cause alternate counsel to file a notice of appearance with this court or advise this court if appellant will not be retaining alternate counsel. Appellant failed to respond to this order. Therefore, this court issued an order on April 8, 2024, directing appellant, within 14 days, to retain new counsel and cause counsel to file a notice of appearance in this court or to inform this court whether he intends to proceed pro se. The order cautioned appellant that failure to timely comply may result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has failed to comply or otherwise communicate with this court.

Accordingly, this court concludes that appellant has abandoned this appeal and

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
