ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a request for an award of alimony. Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division, Clark County; Dawn Throne, Judge.

On July 10, 2023, this court issued a notice regarding deadlines that, among other things, directed appellant to file and serve a docketing statement within 21 days, and an opening brief or informal brief within 120 days. When appellant failed to file the docketing statement, this court issued an order on September 11, 2023, directing appellant to file and serve the docketing statement by September 25, 2023. The order cautioned appellant that failure to comply could result in sanctions, including dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has failed to file the docketing statement or to otherwise communicate with the court. Additionally, appellant has failed to file the opening brief or informal brief which is now overdue. Accordingly, we conclude that appellant has abandoned this appeal and we
