MATTHEW TRAVIS HOUSTON, Appellant, v. BERNSTEIN & POISSON, LLP; SCOTT POISSON; JACK BERNSTEIN; RYAN M. KERBOW; AND CHRISTOPHER D. BURK, Respondents.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a distinct court order denying a motion for reconsideration. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Michael Villani, Judge.
Review of this appeal reveals a jurisdictional defect.
Specifically, the notice of appeal fails to identify an appealable order. See Arnold v. Kip, 123 Nev. 410, 417, 168 P.3d 1050, 1054 (2007) (explaining that an order denying reconsideration is not independently appealable); see also Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013) (this court “may only consider appeals authorized by statute or court rule”). Accordingly, this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
