ORDER DISMISSING PETITION

This original pro se petition for a writ of mandamus or prohibition challenges the appointment of David Neely III as counsel for petitioner—due to a conflict of interest. On July 26, 2023, this court ordered respondents to answer the petition.

Having reviewed that answer and the documents provided in respondent's appendices, including the district court's July 11, 2023, order, we agree with respondent that the issues presented in this original pro se petition are now moot.

For that reason, we conclude that that this court's intervention by way of extraordinary relief is not warranted. Nat'l Collegiate Athletic Assn v. Univ. of Nev., Reno, 97 Nev. 56, 58, 624 P.2d 10, 11 (1981). Accordingly, we

ORDER the petition DISMISSED.¹
