ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a motion to disqualify and recuse the district court judge. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Jerry A. Wiese, Judge.

Review of the notice of appeal and documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. This court only has jurisdiction to consider appeals authorized, by statute or court rule. Brown v. MHC Stagecoach, LLC, 129 Nev. 343, 345, 301 P.3d 850, 851 (2013). No statute or court rule allows an appeal from an order denying a motion to disqualify and recuse the district court judge. Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction and

ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.¹

1.   Given this dismissal, we take no action in regard to appellant's request for transcripts filed on September 6, 2023. Appellant's “motion to construe case” filed on September 6, 2023, is denied.
