ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This appeal was docketed on June 6, 2023, without payment of the requisite filing fee. See NRAP 3(e). That same day, this court issued a notice directing appellant to pay the required filing fee or demonstrate compliance with NRAP 24 within 14 days. The notice advised that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal.

On June 9, 2023, appellant filed an amended case appeal statement. In both the notice of appeal and the amended case appeal statement appellant indicated that this was an amended notice of appeal and, therefore, no filing fee should be due pursuant to NRAP 3(e) and NRAP 4(a)(7).

On July 10, 2023, this court entered an order clarifying that because this appeal is from a district court order awarding attorney fees and costs, the appeal is an independently appealable special order after final judgment that is subject to a separate filing fee. That order directed appellant to pay the filing fee within 30 days and cautioned appellant that failure to comply would result in the dismissal of this appeal. To date, appellant has not paid the filing fee. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See NEAP 3(a)(2).
