S.D.L., Plaintiff-Respondent, v. C.B., Defendant-Appellant.
Defendant C.B. appeals a final restraining order entered against her pursuant to the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, N.J.S.A. 2C:25-17 to -35. The record reveals that at the conclusion of a two-day hearing, Judge Lisa A. Firko found defendant had harassed plaintiff and made terroristic threats. The evidence the judge found credible supported those determinations. The judge also properly applied the principles contained in Silver v. Silver, 387 N.J. Super. 112, 126-27 (App. Div. 2006), in concluding a final restraining order was needed to preclude future acts of domestic violence.
We affirm substantially for the reasons set forth by Judge Firko in her oral decision.
Affirmed.
PER CURIAM
