JAY L. THOMAS, Plaintiff-Appellant, v. CARE PLUS FOUNDATION, INC., Defendant-Respondent.
In 2007, defendant, a non-profit corporation that provides financial assistance to needy students, awarded a scholarship of up to $2000 to plaintiff to attend college during the 2007-08 school year. In the fall of 2007, plaintiff allegedly submitted an invoice to defendant seeking reimbursement for money he allegedly expended for books. Defendant declined payment because it denied receipt of the invoice. This denial precipitated three lawsuits by plaintiff seeking reimbursement for the alleged costs of those books, all of which were dismissed by the trial court.
This appeal is from the dismissal of plaintiff's third complaint. We affirm substantially for the reasons set forth in Judge Rosa's January 28, 2010 oral opinion. Plaintiff's arguments do not warrant any additional discussion. R. 2:11-3(e)(1)(E).
Affirmed.
PER CURIAM
