Charissa L. MAYES, Appellant, v. COOPER COUNTY LAND TITLE, et al., Respondents.
ORDER
Charissa Mayes sued Karen Evans, Sherry Broyles, Cooper County Land Title, LLC, and Quinlan Agency, Inc. in the Circuit Court of Cooper County, alleging claims for fraud and violation of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act (the “MMPA”), ch. 407, RSMo. Mayes’ claims related to her purchase of a home in Boonville from Evans; Mayes alleged that the home had a defective and uninsurable roof which the defendants failed to accurately disclose. The circuit court dismissed Mayes’ claims against Broyles, Cooper County Land Title, and the Quinlan Agency for failure to state a claim; granted summary judgment to Evans; and awarded Evans her attorney's fees. Mayes appeals. We affirm, but deny the Respondents’ motions for attorney's fees on appeal. Because a published opinion would have no precedential value, we have provided an unpublished memorandum to the parties which sets forth the reasons for this order. Rule 84.16(b).
