Justin R. CAMPBELL, Appellant, v. MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, Respondent.
Order
Justin Campbell appeals the Cole County Circuit Court's grant of the Missouri Department of Corrections’ motion for judgment on the pleadings on his petition for declaratory judgment. Campbell seeks a declaration that he is entitled to five additional months of jail-time credit toward service of seven of his sentences. Campbell raises three points on appeal. First, he asserts the Cole County Circuit Court lacked jurisdiction to deny his petition because venue was proper in Boone County Circuit Court and he did not agree to the change in venue to Cole County. Second, Campbell argues the court erred when it issued a judgment that did not declare the rights of either party. And, third, Campbell contends the court erred in failing to declare his right to jail-time credit, because he was in custody following conviction for one crime while awaiting trial on seven other crimes, “all of which were bondable offenses, thus making them related,” and, therefore, the subsequent offenses would have prevented his release from custody. Finding no error, we affirm. Rule 84.16(b).
