In the ESTATE OF Bessie Marie RICH, Deceased M. Warren Rich, Personal Representative, Appellant, v. Jeri Leigh Caskey, Respondent.
Order
M. Warren Rich, personal representative of the estate of his deceased wife, Bessie Rich, appeals the order granting Jeri Leigh Caskey's claim against the estate for both reimbursement of costs and attorney's fees.1 Warren raises one point on appeal. He argues that Jeri Leigh lacked standing to assert a claim against Bessie's estate because (1) Jeri Leigh does not have a legally cognizable interest in the subject matter in that she was hired by Harold Caskey, her brother-in-law, to probate the estate, and Warren did not consent to be represented by Harold or Jeri Leigh; (2) there was no attorney-client relationship or contract between Warren and Harold as to probating Bessie's estate; and (3) Harold, Jeri Leigh, and Kay Caskey, Harold's wife, fraudulently induced Warren into having Harold/Jeri Leigh represent Warren as personal representative of Bessie's estate. Finding no error, we affirm. Rule 84.16(b).
