IN RE: the Care and Treatment of Thomas DEAN, a/k/a Thomas L. Dean, a/k/a Thomas Lloyd Dean, Appellant, v. STATE of Missouri, Respondent.
ORDER
Following a jury trial, the Circuit Court of Ray County entered a judgment ordering that Thomas Dean be committed to the custody of the Department of Mental Health as a sexually violent predator (“SVP”). Dean appeals, raising two points alleging ineffective assistance of counsel. In his first point, Dean contends that his counsel was ineffective in failing to object to evidence of conduct forming the basis for an overturned Arizona conviction. In his second point, Dean argues that he received ineffective assistance when his counsel failed to offer into evidence a 2010 Order terminating a previous action that sought to commit him as an SVP. We affirm. Rule 84.16(b).
